Just Wait....????

Have you ever waited on something?

A package to arrive in the mail..... anticipation

A friend to be healed.............. hope

A new job..............  uncertainty

Sitting in traffic............. frustration

Someone to help you in a store.................  anger

Arrival of new baby................ joy

WAITING......

Many emotions are connected with that word.

Wait patiently for the Lord.Be brave and courageous.Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
Psalm 27:14

What are you waiting on?

  1. Hi Robyn! God bless you and thanks for your post on waiting today. Something we all have to do! And, as God so often does, it just so happened to be apart of my post today at http://iftodaywehear.wordpress.com! Here's the simple poem . . .

    Only Temporary

    Waiting can pull me apart
or at least stretch me out thin
    play games with my mind
    until I begin
    to think this is it,
    there simple isn't more -
then You shout, "Let's move out!
    What are you waiting for?"

I'm a believer in Jesus, a wife, a mom of two wonderful daughters and one son-in-law. My youngest daughter has special needs and requires 24/7 care, so that is what I am blessed to do! :) God seems to give me little poems or verses and after a year of writing them down everyday, I thought He wanted me to share them in some way. And so the blog was started!

Thank you Robyn for the encouragement from His word while we wait! deb

  2. So glad I stumbled upon your space here. :) Waiting is so very hard when we focus on what we are waiting for. In the last year God called me to leave my career and stay home. And in the last year I have gone out, restless and anxious, and been offered 3 different jobs...each time, getting convicted by the Holy Spirit that I wasn't waiting (or resting) in Him for His will to unfold or His provision to carry me...I finally gave up! I'm still at home and no longer waiting...I'm just living. Living in His will and surrendering my own...

  3. Melissa,

So glad you stumbled my way! I have been seeking God'w will in my life.......and God spoke these words..... WAIT....
I didn't know why He commanded me to wait, but out of my commitment to Him..... I wait.....In this waiting time God.has done a great thing in me.....painful at times, joyful at times, peaceful at times, and turbulent at times....
But I have grown more than I could have ever imagined....

I know My Lord and he LOVES me just as I am....

    Thanks for your comment.

    God bless!!

    Robyn
